2010 is going to be a better year! I just know it.
Got the results from Tyler's nasal culture today. It came back as a positive reaction. Officially H1N1. :-[ And since Lexie and Grace are allergic to eggs, no immunizations for them... so it's just a matter of time. Luckily she is doing better today (took her to the doctor on Saturday morning). And to top it all off, I have pink eye. Oh joy! I'm so bummed. We really have been trying to stay healthy...
So... just in case you were thinking of popping in... don't. Stay away... stay far, far away, stay as far away as you can. LOL :-) The quarantine will be in effect until the end of the week... baring that the girls don't spike fevers over 101. :-)
Feel free to give me a call... we aren't going anywhere any time soon. :-)
WOW... where has the time gone?
I really do have the best of intentions to keep the blog up and running... smoothly. But life happens and the blog falls to the wayside. :-)
It has been a very busy last few months... shoot looking at my last post in what... April?! It's been a busy FIVE months.
The big news is that ........ we're pregnant..... AHHHHH, NOT! Just Kidding!!! No, we are NOT pregnant. :-) The big news is all that has been going on with the girls. In April we found out that Tyler has Eosinophilic Colitis. She is allergic to wheat, garlic and black pepper. After finding out that Tyler had EC, we also found out that Lexie and Grace have Eosinophilic Esophagitis and GERD. For more information about EC and EE, click here http://www.apfed.org/. For more information about GERD, click here www.cdhnf.org/wmspage.cfm?parm1=42. The twins are allergic to wheat, soy, corn, oat, dairy, beef, eggs, peanut, carrot, and sweet potato. Because they are allergic to SO much and what they could eat wasn't providing enough calories, they started Elecare, an amino acid based formula in addition to the foods that ARE allowed. Talk about elimination diets... Has it been easy... no... not one bit. I Hate EGID!! But we're learning to live with it... praying that the girls gain weight (we will know more on November 11th... PRAYING that they have gained so that we DO NOT have to take the G-Tube route!) and taking one day at a time. Beyond the food issues, they are all growing so fast!! Tyler just turned 5 on October 30th!! I just can't believe it's been 5 years since we gave birth to her!!! I will never forget the day we had her!! Ahhh, I love that girl! Besides being little, Lexie and Grace are GREAT! Walking, running, climbing... on EVERYTHING, talking, growing LOTS of curly blond hair. :-) They LOVE to tag-team us... it's the joys of almost two year old twins! :-) and I wouldn't have it any other way!! They have brought more joy to our lives that one could ever imagine!!
Tony and I are good! Staying as busy as ever. Tony is getting his business off the ground... look out world... there's new law in town. :-) I am still working at Khalsa Montessori. :-) This is my seventh school year!! Speaking of seven... can you believe it's been 7 years since Jeff passed away! Where does the time go.... We celebrated Jeff's full but short life August 31st.
Gus is good. :-) Getting up there in age. We have definitely noticed that he has slowed down QUITE a bit, and his hearing isn't quite what it used to be, but he's good. He's so great with the kids... Grace just loves him! He's 12 years old... or rather 84 in doggie years.
Well, I'll post new pictures soon. It's been a phototastic last 5 months! Thanks for stopping in to see how we're doing. :-) Talk to you soon!!

Egg Hunt 2009
For those of you who don't know, we are part of an AWESOME organization called MOMS Club of Goodyear South. Wonderful ladies, great kids... LOTS of fun. I've even taken on a new roll... secretary for 2009/2010. Yes, I know, I know... don't over-commit. LOL
ANYway... we joined the fun for an egg hunt... it was just too cute!! Of course Tyler had a blast... the twins thought it was pretty fun too. :-)
It been too long... again.
I always have the best of intentions on keeping up with a weekly (or more often) update.... but that just hasn't happened. Guess I just need to remember that I don't have to write a novel. LOL
So, pictures to come.... the girls are growing like weeds. Talking, walking, running, giving kisses... all the cute things 17 month old babies do. I can't believe they are already so big!
Tyler is great. Going to have her first dance recital on Saturday. Her outfit is TOO CUTE! We just got her into the Litchfield Park Preschool program for next year. She'll go 3 days a week in the afternoon. :-)
Tony and I are great. Just celebrated out 12th anniversery. It was the first time we hired a babysitter. It went great!!! We had a blast, Tyler had a blast and the babies slept, so it all worked out great!
Ahhh, and so life goes on... FAST whether we want it to or not. :-)
