I'm Headed to the Office...

Tyler LOVES her Daddy... She just adores him... and any time she can do what he is doing all the better... whether it's mowing the lawn, working in the garage or just dressin' up. :-)

Tony had just gotten home from meeting with some clients... so it was Tyler's turn to wear the garb.

T ~ "Bye... I'm headin' to the office...." (In her Daddy's size 13's!)
M ~ "Will you be home in time for dinner??
T ~ "Hmmm... what are we havin'?"
M ~ "Whada ya think about Pizza?"
T ~ *Thinks for a minute* "With chocolate and strawberry milk mixed together and dippy sauce?"
M ~ "Sure... anything for you babe"
T ~ "Okay... *BIG smile* I'm done at the office now!" :-)

I love that girl!! She seriously cracks me up!

Keep your underware on!

It's no secret that Tyler loves to be without clothing... the least amount possible. We secretly joke that she will grow up to be a nudest. :-) Well I was sitting outside talking on the phone with one of my best friends while Tyler was making mud pies... her new favorite pastime! All of a sudden she comes over... much to my surprise, covered with mud... attempting to take her undies off...

M ~ "Dude... keep your panties on!"
T ~ "But they're gunna get mud on them" Really does this matter... she is SLATHERED in mud by this point! LOL
M ~ "No.. if you're going to make mudpies, you have to leave your panties on.... you don't wanna get sand in your "area" "
T ~ "But Mom!!"
M ~ "Underware or no mud pies..."
T ~ "Humph!... Okay!"<

.......And of course mudpie making wouldn't be complete without a taste test right??? Seriously, some days I have just sit and wonder.... LMAO!

We're on the MOVE!

Well it's official... they have started crawling... well army crawling... nonetheless, moving around with amazing speed and agility! Of course, in true twin fashion, it's almost always in two different directions!

I thought things were difficult before... the fun has truly just begun! :-)

Quite possibly my worst meal...

Just like every family... we've hit a dinner slump. Tired of the same old meals... so I hit the cookbooks for some new recipes. I ran a few ideas past Tone, made my menu and hit the market.

"Hmmm, tonight I'll make a new recipe... Country Fried Steak, Rice and fresh Green Beans. Soundes good..." The picture looked good. So I start cooking. I've gotten everything set up... all my stations ready, Tyler's makin' a craft, the girls are playing.. Okay.. GO!

Just as I started "frying" the steak, the girls are hungry... ok, I can do this... bottles are warming... babies are yelling "The food's on it's way girls..." Bottles warmed up, babies eating... everybody's happy.

"Oops... that steak cooked a little too long... o'well... I have a few more to make... I'll watch it more carefully".

Steaks are done... let's start the gravy while the green beans and rice finish up...

Well to make the long story short, the green beans were great... (so I thought.. but they did have cooked onions with them and we're not huge "Yunion" fans as Tyler calls them), they gravy tasted good, but it looked like an ashtray with water in it.. okay maybe not that bad, but food is not supposed to be that gray, and the steaks... well lets just say frying food is not my forte. The only thing that did turn out was the rice... and how hard is that. Tony was absolutely super sweet about it... I thought the steaks tasted TERRIBLE, in fact I couldn't even finish mine! He ate 2 and some beans and rice... He told me that while he wasn't a fan of the "Yunions", he thought it all tasted good. Of course Tyler didn't like the "Yunions" either... but she ate some... had a few bits of steak... followed by a good ole' PB&J. How could I make her eat it if I didn't even eat mine. :-)

Of course I said that I thought this was quite possibly the worst meal I had ever made... and then we remembered the "Catfish Creation" I had made when we lived in Virginia... so I guess this one takes second. LOL

At least someone in the house thought it was good... Gus got the bites I just couldn't force myself to eat... LOL He seemed to like it. :-)
